We are happy to welcome Anne Summerhays, our new Library Clerk, to our NSCECE team! Anne has worked in several domains, including childcare, agricultural business administration, and public health, but through it all, nothing has brought her more joy than connecting with her community and using her skills to support others’ growth and empowerment. Anne has a Master of Information from Dalhousie, a passion for information literacy and instruction, and a love of all things creative, be it music, crafts, writing, or any other artistic endeavour.
Did you you know that the third Friday in October is a Canadian Library Workers Day? On this day we
recognize the valuable contributions of library workers in all types of libraries from public and school libraries to academic and government libraries. If you know a librarian, reach out and thank them for their help! And if you wish to meet one in person, come to our Lending Library! We also have over 4,000+ books and materials for all ages, so you visit will be productive for sure! Browse our online catalogue and use tags to search our dadabase. Feel free to email Anne at [email protected] to ask any questions!
