NEW! Culturally Responsive Leadership Module

Culturally Responsive Leadership in Nova Scotia’s Early Learning and Child Care Settings is a 3-hour module developed to align with the revised Capable, Confident, and Curious: Nova Scotia’s Early Learning Curriculum Framework (NSELCF). This professional learning module has been designed to empower directors, assistant directors, pedagogical leaders, inclusion coordinators, and educators in coaching and leadership roles to support others in implementing culturally responsive practice. The module examines the roles of leaders provides an opportunity to practice courageous conversations and coaching techniques with a case study format. Completing Culturally Responsive Practices (CRP) module is a pre-requisite for taking Culturally Responsible Leadership. Click here to register.

Here are a few reminders after our brief hiatus:

EYCDC hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:40 PM. Extended hours may be available on request. We recommend calling (902-423-7114 ext. 233) or emailing ([email protected]) ahead of your visit as the library is often used as a meeting space.

The loan period for all items is 2 weeks. Anything longer than this period will require contacting our library clerk at [email protected].

Our catalogue is available online here.

Requests for items can be sent ahead of your visit. Please include the item’s call number (ex. GM 208) and the item’s name (ex. Spinning Wheel) in your request.
