STUDENT COUNCIL
At NSCECE we believe in student-led initiatives. The Student Council is a chance to get together with your peers and use your united voices to make things happen! In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body and the liaison with the NSCECE Board of Directors. The Student Council gives students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. All students are welcome.
NSCECE SCHOOL SPIRIT TEAMS
NSCECE is all about team spirit. All students will be assigned to a college team. The current teams are named after famous Early Childhood Theorists and practitioners: Malaguzzi, Vygotsky, Erikson and Gerber. Each time you participate in college activities you get points awarded to your team.
How can you get involved? It is simple. All you have to do is to participate in:
- College Socials
- Volunteer Activities
- Student Success Workshops
- Professional development activities
- Team Challenges
Each month the number of points awarded will be collated and posted. There are prizes to the team with the most points at the end of the school year! Check the winners in the previous years:
- 2018-2019: Erikson
- 2017-2018: Vygotsky
- 2016-2017: Vygotsky
- 2015-2016: Vygotsky
- 2014-2015: Gardner
